Adamo APAC at HealthTechX Asia 2026 in Singapore

HealthTechX Asia 2026 brought the region's healthcare technology community to Singapore on 6 and 7 May 2026, and Adamo APAC, the Singapore-based entity of Adamo Software, was there. Held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the event is one of the clearest annual reads on where digital health is heading across Asia Pacific. For a team that builds healthcare software for clients in the region, it was a short trip worth making.

Key Takeaways:

  • Adamo APAC attended HealthTechX Asia 2026, held on 6 and 7 May 2026 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.

  • Now in its second edition, the event convened healthcare providers, government health agencies, startups, investors, and technology partners from across Asia Pacific.

  • Key themes included data interoperability and HL7 FHIR, applied AI, and health data protection, all central to building compliant healthcare software in the region.

  • Adamo APAC attended as a participant rather than an exhibitor, focused on regional healthcare technology trends and ecosystem connections.

About HealthTechX Asia 2026

Now in its second edition, HealthTechX Asia gathers the full healthcare ecosystem in one place: ministries of health and their digital agencies, hospitals and providers, startups, investors, system integrators, and payers. The 2026 programme ran across two conference tracks, HealthTech 360 (healthcare intelligence and next-generation solutions) and Powering HealthTech (infrastructure, systems, and digital foundations), with more than 60 speakers covering 12 themes. The event was supported by Synapxe as a HealthTech Community Partner.

The timing reflects a fast-growing market. Asia's health technology market was valued at around USD 143 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 23.3% through 2033 (U.S. Commercial Service, 2025), one of the highest growth rates of any regional health technology market. For businesses operating in Singapore and the wider region, that growth translates into rising demand for health software that is secure, interoperable, and genuinely usable by clinicians.

The Themes That Matter for APAC Healthcare

A recurring thread across the 2026 programme was interoperability, the work of connecting health systems that were never designed to share data. Sessions addressed API-driven care, data liquidity, and standards such as HL7 FHIR for exchanging health information across systems. These are not abstract concerns in this region. In Singapore, health software must also satisfy data protection rules under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), which shapes how patient information is stored, shared, and secured.

This is the same ground that Adamo APAC covers in its healthcare software development work: electronic medical record and clinical systems, telemedicine platforms, and patient-facing applications. These are engineered to meet strict requirements for data security and interoperability, including health data exchange standards such as HL7 FHIR and data protection rules such as Singapore's PDPA. Hearing how providers across Asia are tackling these problems in person is more useful than any market report.

Adamo APAC attended HealthTechX Asia 2026 as a participant, not an exhibitor. The focus was on learning and connection: joining conference sessions, exploring the exhibition floor, and meeting people across the regional healthcare ecosystem. HealthTechX Asia is deliberately built around connections, with a networking app, meeting lounges, and structured networking activities that put providers, government agencies, startups, and investors in the same room.

The conference tracks were a useful signal of where the market is investing, and they lined up closely with the problems we see day to day: connecting systems, protecting sensitive patient data, and turning promising AI models into tools clinicians will actually use. For a team deepening its presence in the Asia Pacific market, these are exactly the conversations worth having face to face.

A Regional Commitment

Attending HealthTechX Asia 2026 reflects Adamo APAC's focus on healthcare and the Asia Pacific region. Pairing local client engagement in Singapore with engineering delivery from teams in Vietnam, Adamo APAC treats events like this as a way to stay close to where regional healthcare technology is heading. We left with a sharper view of the trends that will shape digital health across the region in the years ahead, from interoperability and applied AI to the data protection standards that underpin trust in every health system.
